The Sony World Photography Awards are the most prestigious awards in photography. With more than 350.000 competitors and almost 1million of photographies presented, my project has been judged by a jury of great photographers.
In the 2024 edition the special supervisor was Sebastiao Salgado.

A selection of ten pictures that tell the story of a young athlete from Dakar, Senegal. A long journey to reach the goal of partecipating in a world championship with many difficulties. Dakar will host the 2026 Young Olympics games and surfing, for the first time in the young competition, will be part of it.
